qigong and tai chi Sessions
Welcome to my Qigong and Tai Chi practice, where ancient Chinese arts meet modern wellness and community.
Through gentle, flowing movements, I offer group classes as well as personalized small group and individual sessions designed to enhance your physical health, mental clarity, and overall well-being. Sharing these practices fosters a sense of connection and community—a personal goal I hold dear in supporting your holistic journey.
My classes are rooted in the deep wisdom of Qigong and Tai Chi, with serious intention but always a light heart.
While we focus on the physical and mental benefits of these ancient practices, there’s also a joyful, uplifting energy in our group sessions. We laugh, we share, and through that joy, we create an environment that fosters immense healing and stress relief. I believe joy is essential for strengthening the body, quieting the mind, and uplifting the spirit. My goal is to offer a space where health practices and movement not only promote wellness but also bring that joy and play into your life.
self care is health care
It is essential to care for the caregivers of our communities.
Because of this strong belief, I offer private group sessions tailored for community health workers, such as emergency responders, nursing home staff, hospice and teachers. These sessions are gratis, or a ‘give back’ to my community. They provide a space for those in demanding roles to recharge and focus on their well-being. Whether organized by a school for its teachers or by a healthcare team, these customized classes help caregivers care for themselves, fostering balance and resilience.

Qigong, meaning "energy or Qi cultivation," is a practice that combines gentle movements, breathwork, and meditation to balance and enhance your body's vital energy.
My classes cover the 4 main baskets of Qigong practice:
Dynamic Movement: Engages our body in physical, flowing movements and exercises
Meditation: Focuses on quieting the mind, tuning inward
Breathwork: Emphasizes the breath medicine aspects of Qigong
Self-massage: Applies and directs the cultivated Qi for healing within the body
These practices aim to reduce stress, improve flexibility, and boost immune function.
-
Tai Chi, often described as "moving meditation," is a gentle martial art that promotes balance, flexibility, and strength.
I offer instruction in various Tai Chi forms:
5 Form: Tai Chi Easy -A simplified routine perfect for beginners
9 Form: A short form that introduces core Tai Chi principles
24 Form: Also known as the "Yang style," this is a standardized routine suitable for intermediate practitioners
Tai Chi practice can lead to improved cardiovascular health, better coordination, balance practice and enhanced mental focus.
